So these lipsticks are something that I have mentioned countless times on this blog, but I love just love them so much – they are worth another post!! This line of lipstick, in my opinion, is the perfect line for summer because it has the prettiest colors that go on pigmented yet sheer enough for everyday wear. A few days ago on my way home from work I had to make a pit stop at Mall of America to return something… and next thing I knew I was at the checkout at Sephora. #TYPICAL!!! Anyway, I picked up a few products and wanted to share my initial thoughts with you! A couple of products I have tried before, and a couple are completely new to me. Here’s what I got… and what I think! 🙂
My new obsession is lipstick. For the longest time I missed out on all of its wonderfulness because it just seemed scary to me. I was all too used to my safe, barely-colored lip gloss that would never show smudges or wear. But boy was I missing out. What has made me fall in love with lipstick is that it’s the perfect addition to set the tone of look, reflect your mood, and just give your makeup that final “finished” touch. And now, I rarely go a day without it.
Throughout my lipstick loving life, I have accumulated many different shades and brands of lipstick, but have narrowed it down to my four faves.
1) NARS – Niagara. This is one of my favorite lipsticks. It has a cute pinky coral color to it, perfect for the spring and summer months (now if only spring would finally come to MN!) I love it because it gives a pop of color to your look, but isn’t too aggressive for places like school or work. Find it at Sephora, $26.
